Kim Soohyun's agency, Gold Medalist, announced on April 2 through an official press release that "Kim Soohyun and the agency filed an additional lawsuit and complaint against Kim Se-eui, the operator of the YouTube channel 'Garoseyo Research Institute,' on charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act on April 1."

Kim Soohyun's side stated, "Garoseyo Research Institute began broadcasting on March 10 under the title '[Exclusive] Kim Soohyun (a six-year relationship with Kim Saeron since she was 15 years old) led to Kim Saeron's d**th,' and has spread false information about actor Kim Soohyun almost every day until March 31, except for one day. Furthermore, Garosero has indiscriminately distributed photos and videos of Kim Soohyun's face and body, as well as private letters and messages, on its YouTube channel. The only way to stop Garosero's 'cyber har***ment' behavior is through strict investigation and punishment."

They continued, "Gold Medalist has repeatedly refuted the false claims made by Garosero, such as Kim Soohyun having been in a relationship with the late Kim Saeron since she was a MN. However, Garoseyo continues to spread false information based on fabricated evidence and photos. Therefore, Gold Medalist will once again gather and refute all the evidence presented by Garosero to make it clear that the claim that Kim Soohyun was in a relationship with the late Kim Saeron from her mn years is absolutely false."

Kim Soohyun's side also addressed the photo that Garosero claimed was taken at a ski resort between 2015 and 2016, stating, "This was a group photo taken when Gold Medalist employees went to the ski resort, and there is also a group photo taken on January 22, 2020."

Regarding Garosero's claim that Kim Soohyun kissed the late Kim Saeron when she was 16 years old and labeled him a "creepy man kissing a middle schooler," Kim Soohyun's side refuted this, saying, "This photo was taken after 2019, and both of them were adults at the time."
