[teens stories] WHAT I REALIZED GROWING UP

(pic not included)

It seems like people don't really welcome the possibility of those around them becoming better...ㅋㅋ
In fact, they even set the stage for them to stay the same. For example, if a friend isn't preparing for a job and just spends all day having fun, normally, you'd expect people to tell them to get it together. But surprisingly, they don't really say that. Instead, they might even encourage it, saying things like, "Yeah, when else are you going to have fun?" and essentially shutting down any chance of improvement.

That's why it’s so important to wake up on your own. Don't avoid it no matter what

It's not this. It's because you're not their family so they don't want to interfere. Why go out of their way to give you the harsh truth?

It might be just manners but friends will never take responsibility for your life so they can't do anything else than give you a conservative advice...

People tend to feel the most jealousy toward those around them, relatives, siblings, classmates, and friends.. They thought you were on the same level, but the moment you surpass them... I've seen so many people act really ugly

(OP) I usually don't give harsh advice because I don't want to be nosy. But I think there's a difference between just staying silent and actively encouraging someone to stay the same, blocking their chance to become a better person

It's true. Also, even if they do succeed, there's not a single friend who genuinely congratulates themㅋㅋㅋ
