SNS shows growing boycott movement against HYBE
"No apology from HYBE's document... Avoiding contact as much as possible"
HYBE, the number one entertainment company in South Korea by market capitalization, has become the industry's "ugly duckling." Not only has it lost favor with K-pop fandoms, but it has also fallen out of favor with other industry professionals. Despite this, HYBE appears to be adopting a passive approach, seemingly waiting for time to resolve the issue rather than taking decisive steps to address the underlying problems.

The discomfort of those mentioned in the document is evident. One industry insider commented, "It’s beyond shocking—more like a tragic feeling—that a company like HYBE, which is number one in the industry, would create such a disgusting document and share it. HYBE claimed they would apologize to the agencies mentioned in the document, but no action has been taken. Since it's hard to verify, it seems like they're trying to just brush it off."
Another entertainment industry professional stated, "The K-pop scene has been criticized for the commercialization of idols, and there has been an effort to improve the environment. But since the document was made public by HYBE, it feels like all those efforts have been in vain. The fact that this document was shared without internal criticism for such a long time is proof of the company's values."
The source continued, "HYBE’s artists still have a strong influence, so there may still be demand for challenges or joint performances. But if these actions are used to further boost their position by using our artists as stepping stones, it’s chilling. Already, the industry is forming an opinion that 'HYBE should be avoided,' and I hope this doesn't lead to the entire K-pop scene being devalued and labeled as a low-quality group or culture due to HYBE's document."

1. Bang Sihyuk is still hiding ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
2. Not surprised
3. The fact that they didn't apologize is actually more fitting for them, and I prefer it that way. What's more annoying is seeing the people who defend them, claiming that the apology itself justifies everything
4. Apologizing over the phone is laughable. Bang Sihyuk should come back to Korea, gather everyone, and apologize properly. Honestly, the agencies will probably do their usual PR, but this is just too much. They’ve gone too far, talking behind everyone’s backs and then hiding out somewhere in the US
5. Ah their attitude is definitely the "I already said that I'll apologize, this is how I apologize" ã…Žã…Ž...
6. No but... Bang Sihyuk should release his apology
7. HYBoongie needs to d*e
8. I knew they would never apologizeã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
9. Honestly this makes me wonder if they even read the room or not. Because there are barely any articles covering it, they think that nothing will change
10. I don't understand why they can keep their mouths shut like that. How many victims were there in the entire entertainment industry? Meanwhile Bang Sihyuk-ssi is sill hiding and isn't planning to come out
