I insisted on retaking the exam for a third time even though I'm not good at studying. I ended up doing it, but as expected, I didn't study and my scores are exactly the same as the second time... In the meantime, I haven't gained anything from trying a third time either ㅎㅎ... I lay down to sleep, but I'm crying so hard because I feel so guilty toward my mom. My heart hurts.

You're going to forget about this in less than a year. Don't waste time being all dramatic, get up quickly, go to your mom, and say, "Mom, I'm sorry. I’ll work harder from now on and make you proud"ㅋㅋㅋ with a playful attitude. It's much better than lying there feeling sorry for yourself. Seeing you lying down like that will only make her sadder. If your mom has supported you through three attempts without much complaint, she's your biggest supporter who loves and understands you without needing an explanation. Of course, a mom would love having a daughter who studies well, but I bet she'd appreciate it more if you were playful and affectionate with her like a friend.

You're just crying yourself to sleep thinking that it will relieve your feelings. You didn't even study so why retake the exam a third time? Go out to learn some learning techniques. Get in your right mind. Do you know how long your parents will remain young?? It doesn't take long for you to work and become a source of support for yourself. Please don't cry, come to your senses, study, or find a way to live.

There's nothing for you to be sorry for. This is your life. You're the one making it hard.

OP-yah, it's okay. I also failed my third attempt, wasted money, and ended up with scores lower than my first try. I just went to a national university for nursing, but last year I got a job at one of the top 5 hospitals, and now I'm doing well. Once time passes, you'll realize how insignificant the emotions from that time were. When I look at my journal from back then, I'm like, "Did I really feel that way?ㅋㅋㅋ So trust me, once it's all over, the enta won't seem like a big deal. I know it sounds cliche, but the exam really isn’t that important... seriously, once you get into college, you'll see how trivial it all was and realize you were just a frog in a well back then. I'm being honest. What really stayed with me wasn't the result, but the process of working hard. So don't get too hung up on the outcome. Fighting!!!
