[instiz] [EXCLUSIVE] MIN HEEJIN FACES CONSECUTIVE LAWSUITS... "NEGLECTING NEWJEANS" .. SOURCE MUSIC 500 MILLION WON DAMAGES LAWSUIT CONFIRMED

Min Heejin, the former CEO of Ador, has confirmed the first trial date for her lawsuit with Source Music, following her lawsuit with Belift Lab, which is scheduled for January next year.

According to Star News, the 12th Civil Division of the Seoul Western District Court will hold the first hearing for the 500 million won ($360K USD) damages lawsuit that Source Music filed against Min Heejin on January 10th next year. Source Music filed the lawsuit against Min Heejin through the Seoul Western District Court in July.

Source Music has been seeking legal action to receive compensation for damages related to Min Heejin's claims regarding the debut of NewJeans. Min Heejin had previously held a press conference where she claimed that some members of NewJeans, who were previously with Source Music, were neglected, and also raised issues about LE SSERAFIM debuting before NewJeans.

In response, Source Music rebutted Min Heejin’s false claims point by point, emphasizing, "The claim made by Min Heejin, that Source Music copied her launch strategy, is false. Source Music has never copied the launch strategy of Min Heejin, the former CBO, and we have never acknowledged any complaints made by Min CBO."

They continued, "In May 2020, Chairman Bang Sihyuk provided his opinion on the launch strategy proposed by Min Heejin, the then CBO. His suggestion was not for N Team, but for a 'new team' through a label that Min CBO was about to establish. Min Heejin is distorting the facts by claiming that Chairman Bang suggested that N Team should implement her launch strategy, even though she was well aware of the discussion at the time.

Source Music emphasized, "Min Heejin is continuously spreading false information regarding Source Music. In addition to the damages lawsuit we previously filed against her, we will take strong legal action in this case as well. We are willing to disclose any materials we possess at any time if necessary to clarify the truth."

Coincidentally, Min Heejin, the former CEO, is also facing a 2 billion won ($1.4M) damages lawsuit from Belift Lab over the ILLIT plagiarism controversy.

The 12th Civil Division of the Seoul Western District Court  will hold the first hearing for the damages lawsuit filed by ILLIT's agency, Belift Lab, against Min Heejin on January 10th next year.

Belift Lab had previously stated in June that the claim that ILLIT plagiarized NewJeans' planning proposal was not true. Belift Lab explained, "ILLIT's branding strategy and concept were finalized and shared internally on July 21, 2023," and "The tip-off, which allegedly sent the so-called 'planning proposal,' came later, on August 28, 2023, which means it could not have influenced ILLIT's concept."

In response, a representative from Min Heejin’s side told Star News on the 18th, "Despite the specific testimony from an internal informant at HYBE and the clear similarities, they are denying it and misleading public opinion," and criticized, "HYBE and Belift Lab have caused widespread false information and obstructed business operations by dragging matters that could have been resolved internally out into the public." The representative also added, "Without considering the damage caused to NewJeans, it is important to reflect on who is using rookie artists as a shield to claim business interference."

5. Look at the way they're phrasing the title. Only the date of the hearing has been confirmed, but they made it look like it was confirmed that she had to pay ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. But isn't it a fact that they've recognized having taken a part of the planning and even apologized? Did I read it wrong somewhere?

7. The way they're trying to sway people with their titles..This is so wrong

8. I'm not in anyone's side but ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ If I were her, I too would want to part ways with HYBoongie as soon as I can, but I'll stay still ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

9. Seriously there's nothing in the news about HYBE and only things about Min Heejin all the time

10. Didn't Source Music apologize that they've copied Min Heejin? Why omit that part? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ And please, stop with the mediaplay. Does HYBE not know how bad their image is now? How long are they gonna go like that?
