1. Wow... Isn't this historical for K-pop? Wow ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. Ah... this kind of feels like watching that situation, and it's making me all embarrassed... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It’s like seeing a new MZ employee who’s cluelessly standing up to a manager at the company. The atmosphere gets all tense, but that employee is completely oblivious and just getting angry. It's such an awkward, embarrassing, and pitiful feeling...

3. They say the evidence in the National Assembly is fabricated. No wonder people are angry—do they think the National Assembly is a joke?

4. So the National Assembly lied...? Huh? Wow

5. Wow ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

6. The more I look at it, the more ridiculous it gets. Aren't they a Korean company? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They're really at odds with the National Assembly

7. They just want to be viewed positively >.<

8. They didn't even remove this notice? ....Amazing....

9 They're now fighting with the National Assembly???? Okay...

10. I'm sorry but all you can do in this situation is just take responsibility at this point

[theqoo] "THE SYNGERGY OF UGLINESS" HYBE REVIEWS SM, YG, JYP'S LOOKS ... REVEALED IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Channel A has obtained an internal document from HYBE that records derogatory appearance evaluations of idols from entertainment agencies like SM, YG, and JYP. Some parts of this document were revealed today (the 24th) during a National Assembly audit by the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee.

The document, titled "HYBE Executive Report: Industry Trends Review," contains comments about idols from other entertainment companies.

HYBE evaluated a member of a girl group from JYP, stating, "They underwent so much plastic surgery that they’re almost unrecognizable. The long exposure to an environment where mental defense is nearly impossible shows strong signs, particularly evident in their appearance and s*x appeal."

It added, "I think similar signs (of surgery) might also be showing in another member."

Regarding SM and YG, HYBE commented, "Surprisingly, nobody is pretty. I wondered if they were worse than OOOOO, and thinking back to the shock everyone felt about their looks when OOO debuted, it makes me wonder if SM's aesthetic has changed."

For a specific girl group from SM, they criticized, "The fandom’s defense logic was that 'the company doesn’t let talented kids shine,' but that was shattered at Coachella," implying criticism of their vocal abilities.

They mentioned a group from a small agency, saying, "The synergy of ugliness is at an unbearable level..." leaving comments bordering on personal attacks.

Regarding SM, they remarked, "The excessive immersion in OOO and the quasi-romantic style of fandom feels like an outdated way of being a fan, and I think that’s the essence of the SM fandom."

They also noted, "There were reports that a book OOO was reading was introduced as a 'feminist book' in male-dominated spaces. This anthology features young domestic authors, and I wonder how many actively publishing young Korean writers aren't feminists. This commotion seems less about significantly affecting OOO and more about how when the team struggles, it could be used to stir up drama around OOO trying to jump on the feminist coin."

[theqoo] HYBE'S SIDE, EVALUATION AND REPORTING ON APPEARANCE? "THAT'S JUST SPECULATIONS FROM COMMUNITIES" REFUTAL

HYBE has denied that the internal report on appearance evaluations reflects their practice.

On the 24th, a representative from HYBE explained to Ilgan Sports, "The internal report on appearance evaluations revealed during the comprehensive audit is merely a compilation of community content and does not represent HYBE's opinion."

During the comprehensive audit conducted in the afternoon with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Democratic Party lawmaker Min Hyung-bae pointed out that despite being a public document prepared by HYBE to monitor the industry, it included low "expressions".

The disclosed materials contained controversial remarks such as, "The members debuted at an age when they weren't at their best looks," "There was too much plastic surgery," "There’s a noticeable trend related to appearance and sex appeal," and "I wonder if SM's aesthetic has changed."

In response, Kim Tae-ho, CEO of Belift Lab, who appeared as a witness, stated, "I do not remember the content of the document. We review a lot of monitoring materials," adding, "This is not HYBE's official judgment."

Meanwhile, during the afternoon's comprehensive audit, CEO Kim Tae-ho, also the Chief Operating Officer of HYBE, faced questions regarding copyright and plagiarism issues between HYBE and girl group NewJeans' agency Ador, as well as allegations of pushing album sales.
