Idol group BOYNEXTDOOR were pictured at an airport holding Apple phones.
They were also wearing an Apple headset.
BOYNEXTDOOR's use of Apple products while traveling to Madrid, Spain, on the 11th sparked online debate.
Previously, BOYNEXTDOOR were invited to Samsung Electronics' smartphone unveiling event late last year.
The group was spotted with a coffee car that appeared to be sent by Samsung during a photo shoot for a fashion magazine last November, and Samsung reportedly showed its support by inviting BOYNEXTDOOR and 100 of their fans to the Galaxy S23 FE launch event a month later.
Some commentators pointed out that the group's behavior was reckless, saying, "It would be ridiculous for advertisers if they changed their brand so drastically," and "Other advertisements are out the window."
On the other hand, some people said, "It wasn't even an advertisement, it was just a sponsorship, so I don't understand why they're getting sworn at."
Samsung Electronics also drew a line, saying that BOYNEXTDOOR were not official models or ambassadors, and that it was "not a matter for us to take a position."

1. It'd be hard for them to get any CF contract from now on
2. It wasn't even a model contract, but sponsored items. But why did they act so rashly? Samsung is saying there's no need for an official statement. Advertisers are so sensitive, it's a shame.
3. Give the contract to FIFTY
4. So it's basically over between them and Samsung now
5. My bias is using Galaxy, please give it to themã… ã…
6. Samsung-ah, why not give it to FIFTY
7. Samsung must be f*cking regretting for even sponsoring themã… ã… ã…
8. Samsung is basically saying that they are nothing to them but nobodies. That's pretty rough
9. Samsung is treating them like this so do you really think other advertisers will use them?ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
10. Samsung just wasted their money. They must be mad
