[theqoo] I-ROACHES ARE TRYING TO FORM A PUBLIC OPINION TO BOYCOTT AESPA

Their reasoning is that they want to deal a blow at SM for what happened with Seunghan, so they're trying to go after their biggest cash cow aespa

It's not just one person who is like that, but multiple people DMing KPOP distributors

In the case of RIIZE, fans supporting Seunghan's return are currently launching a collective effort urging overseas K-pop sellers not to carry RIIZE's albums.

Several sellers have posted statements declaring their support for the boycott of RIIZE.

The funny part is that RIIZE's fandom is heavily concentrated in Korea, China, and Japan, so this kind of boycott from the Western side will not really have any impact

The day after Seunghan's withdrawal, they performed at the Blue Happy Festival in Japan and the arena was filled with orange lightsticks, showing that fans who spend money, the Japanese people, reacted very positively.

In short, it's a boycott that doesn't really have much impact. It's funny that, not only with RIIZE, but also using Seunghan's incident as an excuse, some people try to justify hate toward other SM idols simply because they share the same agency, without even trying to hide their intentions.
