HYBE has issued a statement following the denial of a preliminary injunction seeking to reappoint former Adore CEO Min Heejin as CEO.

Former CEO Min made her appearance at 9 p.m. on the 29th during a live broadcast on critic Kim Young-dae's YouTube channel. Prior to the broadcast, the court dismissed Min's request for a preliminary injunction to reappoint her as CEO. Dismissal is a procedure that ends a trial without deciding the merits of a claim when it does not meet the requirements set by law.
After the court's decision, former CEO Min appeared on a broadcast and said, "Some people asked why I even filed an injunction, but it was to defend my innocence as much as I could. I was also curious, thinking, 'Will this even work?' The lawyers said there was no precedent for such a lawsuit. They initially estimated my chances of winning at only about 10%. From my perspective, it was like giving HYBE one more chance. If things were to fall apart in this way, maybe even things that couldn't be accepted due to pride could be reconsidered, and I could prove my innocence. I don't think anyone else could have done what I did. Even if you have money, it's such a tiring and frustrating thing to deal with."
