Billboard Korea announced that it had selected NewJeans as the first protagonist of the art book ‘Billboard Artist’, which will be published on the 25th, and released the cover photo through its official SNS today (10th).

The released cover photo was taken by famous photographer Elina Kechicheva, and the photo shows NewJeans members creating a dreamy atmosphere in thick smoke.

Billboard Korea said, "New Jeans has received a lot of support from domestic and foreign music fans since its debut in July 2022," and added, "In particular, New Jeans has debuted on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ by presenting promotions and music styles that are distinct from existing K-pop artists." The reason for the selection was stated, "She set a record as the first K-pop female artist to have three or more songs released simultaneously."
