I don't even know where to begin or how much to say. Over this past year, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve criticized Pledis and HYBE...

The actions they take toward their own artists are, from start to finish, not what you'd expect from a decent company. Their blatant disregard for both their artists and fans is so obvious that it's incredibly frustrating.

Is this current situation really right, where the agency, which is supposed to protect its artists, puts them on the front lines while hiding behind them? I’m seriously disappointed day by day with how NewJeans (sorry, I'll only mention them once) is being treated. Is this really how you should be treating your own artists? It’s saddening, and I'm afraid this might one day happen to our own members as well.

I was never a fan of either company to begin with, but this year, both have been nothing but a huge letdown. A company’s basic duty is to focus on their entertainment business and create an environment where the artists can thrive, protecting and supporting them. This is the bare minimum, and the fact that they’re failing at that is both infuriating and disheartening.

Who am I to say all this? But I can’t help thinking that what’s happening there today could happen to us tomorrow. So, I felt like I needed to speak up while I still can. It seems better to voice concerns now, while there's still a chance.

I truly hope HYBE will quickly start providing its artists with proper support and protection, showing the right direction for the entertainment industry. It’s a heavy topic, but please bear with me this one time. Thank you."

I'm here to talk about something a little heavy. I've been very disappointed in the direction of Pledis, and by extension, HYBE, this year. 

I think the current environment surrounding NewJeans in particular (sorry for the reference to other groups) is so wrong, and I've become concerned that the pressure HYBE puts on other artists could be directed at its own members. 

I hope HYBE can restore their previous environment for NewJeans and make them feel as comfortable as they did in the beginning, and please stop this disappointing behavior. Please focus on the entertainment business and get back on track.

These opinions aren't necessarily representative of the fans,
But these are some pretty big accounts.
They are putting pressure to protect their artists and are saying that this could happen to their favorite artists too.

1. Of course, all of HYBE artists' fans should think that NewJeans' situation isn't someone else's business

2. To be honest, this should the reaction of any sane account. They are trying to block their own company's artists and who do they think it will affect next?

3. It's a relief that there are such big accounts being ran by sane people

4. This is the right thing to do... SEV fans are cool

5. If they care about their own artists, that’s the right thing to do. Especially if they’re under HYBE, since what’s happening could be something they’ve faced in the past, are dealing with now, or might experience in the future.

6. If you're a HYBE artist fan, you need to start worrying no matter how obsessed you are about your bias

7. Of course. Aside from Bangtan and TXT, every other group is from acquired companies. Honestly, who’s to say a "second NewJeans" won’t happen? For now, everything's smooth because they’re playing along, but once they fall out of favor with the parent company, whether they’re successful or not, they’ll be suppressed. Who wouldn’t be anxious after seeing that? If it involves their album concepts or the future direction of the group, how could any fan just ignore it and think it’s someone else’s problem?
