[theqoo] MY LIFE IS NOT MUCH DIFFERENT FROM BEING UNEMPLOYED

Society condemns so-called “unproductive” people
TV: There are about 510,000 isolated young people who live disconnected from society due to job failure or difficulties in interpersonal relationships...
Father: Aigo this looks so bad!

I often feel like there is only a small difference between me and those people.

Father: Kids with well-functioning limbs are wasting their time (being unemployed)
OP: I ate well
- *Me too, if not for my office job, I feel like I'd be like this...

I didn't love my job, but it gave my life some sort of purpose.

OP: *I f*cking don't want to go work, should I take some vacation?

Killing time every day by processing all kinds of numbers and data that doesn't interest me somehow gave me an excuse to get out of the house.

Coworker: Sales blah blah blah operating profit blah...
The operating loss is hundreds of millions and blah blah blah...

After spending 9 hours like that, I was able to end the day with the illusion that I had “done” something.

At that time, I felt disconnected from people and from myself.

When I came to my senses, more than three years had passed.

I realized then. When I was young, I had vague expectations about the future.

Now, if I don't change, there will be nothing to look forward to.

Time will just pass by endlessly

original post: here

1. I honestly don't understand what is the meaning of life

2. Me too I'm right in this state right now... Even though I have a lot of working experience + I want to change jobs, I have no motivation to do so and just am in a state of helplessness..

3. That's true ã…œ I feel tormented thinking that I still have decades to live like this

4. The fact that you're still earning a living itself is impressive

5. I feel like you’re exhausted and want to offer my support. Those routine actions are leaving you with valuable experiences, and even moments spent talking to people and walking around, not just the work itself, are becoming much more substantial than a single piece of paper. It seems like it’s just a matter of physical stamina. You're still living a perfectly fine life ㅜㅜ

6. When I was unemployed, I didn’t have depression and had goals in life. The world seemed more colorful, even though I had no money. Now, it feels like I’m living a very dull life. I get home late and can’t even see [my loved ones or do things], and my depression has gotten much worse

7. I quit my job and got over my depression. I'm really happy these days.
I have to worry about what to do next, but I feel so proud and happy because I feel like I'm finding the meaning of life again...!

8. We're all just slaves. But otherwise you won't earn a living so this can't be helped, you just have to live like this

9. Me too I was like this, that's why I'm also looking into getting a certification while attending an academy...

10. Even if you continue doing your hobbies you'll end up burning out...
