 "I have this blueprint I’ve drawn, a grand picture of NewJeans' journey over the next seven years, reaching far into the future. Every year, it felt like we were breaking through milestones, steadily moving toward that vision.

To me, it’s truly a rainbow-colored future. My current hope is that we can safely and successfully reach that destination, ensuring everything is set up to get us there as best as possible.

According to the plan, every album, every year, I’m confident we can surprise people. 

But now, what used to feel obvious has become something I deeply wish to see come to life. I think my desire for things to materialize has grown even stronger.

People live on hope, and I’ve talked a lot with the NewJeans members about these plans. My personal hope is that the conversations we’ve had—about realizing this together and moving forward with a shared, hopeful vision—aren’t just empty promises for the members. That they don’t feel like they’re being strung along.

Since we’ve shared these dreams together, I really hope they come true. I don’t want to let them down."

"There was this one time when Hanni said something. She mentioned how she was so thankful for even the staff who had just held the lights for her once or the ones she’d briefly crossed paths with. Hearing that, I felt like, "Oh, that’s exactly the kind of mindset I had hoped for." I thought it was so nice how our members have such a kind and thoughtful attitude.
