Currently serving in the military, BTS member J-Hope (real name Jung Ho-seok) made headlines last June when it was reported that he had purchased a penthouse at Afer Hangang for 12 billion won, paying the full amount in cash. The penthouse, which features three bedrooms and four bathrooms, has a net area of 83 pyeong (273.86㎡) and a gross area of 110 pyeong (361.09㎡). The contract was signed on June 3, 2020, and ownership was transferred on June 10 of this year after the final payment was made.
However, J-Hope did not stop at just the penthouse. According to real estate registration records, he signed a contract for the unit directly below the penthouse on June 23, 2020, and completed the payment on July 26 of this year, thereby acquiring ownership. This unit features three bedrooms and three bathrooms with a net area of 70 pyeong (232.86㎡) and a gross area of 91 pyeong (299.68㎡). While the purchase price has not been disclosed, the current market value of high-floor units at Afer Hangang is estimated at 11 to 12 billion won. Given that J-Hope did not use a mortgage, it is speculated that he bought both apartments with over 20 billion won in cash.
J-Hope already owns two units in the well-known celebrity apartment complex, Trimage, in Seongsu-dong 1-ga. With the recent acquisition of the Afer Han propegangrties, he has demonstrated his 'young and rich' status by holding a total of four luxury homes.
Afer Hangang consists of 26 units in total and is regarded as a 'celebrity apartment' like Trimage, with notable figures such as actors Kim Go-eun, Gong Yoo, and Soo-ae, as well as the celebrity couple Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan also owning units there. The development was constructed by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, known for its work on projects like PH129 and Amorepacific's new headquarters, with architectural design by Yoo Hyun-jun, inspired by the Acropolis of Athens.

10. Looks like being a rapper is the best position to have in a group. They can avoid rumors and gossip while effectively taking care of their own interests, which is a great deal. Even Suga, who got involved in criminal activities, essentially ended up in a similar comfortable position, right?
