[theqoo] DAY6, ENTERS THE GOCHEOK DOME AFTER 9 YEARS... NEW HISTORY FOR K-POP BANDS

Explosively growing band DAY6 is going to Gocheok Dome nine years after their debut.

In late December, DAY6 will hold a year-end concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul, to meet their fans once again.

Since their debut in 2015, DAY6 has been holding year-end concerts to meet fans since 2017. They performed at Yes24 Live Hall in 2017, Blue Square Market Hall in 2018, and Olympic Hall at Olympic Park in 2019.

It was during the year-end concerts that DAY6 announced the resumption of their full activities after their military hiatus. After holding a Christmas special concert at Hwajung Gymnasium at Korea University last year, DAY6 had the pleasure of meeting fans at Gocheok Dome this year after a year of explosive growth.

DAY6 is the first K-pop band to enter the Gocheok Dome. Although leading international bands such as Metallica in 2017, Maroon 5 in February 2019, Maroon 5 in November 2022, U2 in December 2019, and Queen in January 2020 have performed at Gocheokdome, it is unprecedented for a Korean band.
