Timeline:

1. In a live broadcast, Suga mentioned that the song 'What Do You Think?' from his album, which targets haters, is like a cockroach trap (though no one knows what exactly he means by "trap").

2. Controversy arose when it was discovered that the song 'What Do You Think?' includes a sample of a speech by Jim Jones.

3. Fans defended the song by saying, "That’s a cockroach trap! Haha, the cockroaches got caught in the trap! Stop making a fuss," trying to downplay the controversy.

4. However, as the controversy grew, Suga suddenly retracted his previous claim about producing the entire album and explained that the sampling was done by another producer, not himself.

4-1. He claimed that he didn’t know Jim Jones at all and wasn’t aware of the speech included in the track, as it was added by another producer.

5. The hundreds of BTS fans who had been defending the song on TheQoo quickly fell silent and faced backlash.

1. It's because people were shielding him for things like this that we're now seeing him doing DUI and apologizing like the way he did

2. Really??? This is honestly quite shocking. It's my first time hearing about it

3. At that time, Suga was boasting a lot about producing the album himself, but suddenly, when the controversy arose, the production credit switched to the company’s producer, and Suga ended up being someone who supposedly didn’t know anything about it.
