Earlier, Bang Yongguk, Jeong Daehyun, Yoo Youngjae, and Moon Jongup released their first EP album 'CURTAIN CALL' on August 8th. 'CURTAIN CALL' is the first new work from the B.A.P members in about six and a half years since their 8th single 'EGO' in December 2017. However, they are using their individual names rather than the existing team name, as TS Entertainment, which was their agency at the time of their debut, still holds the trademark rights to B.A.P.

However, TS Entertainment is still negative about transferring the B.A.P trademark rights. A representative from TS Entertainment told Star News, 'When other groups leave a company, they usually come together to start a new company and then approach the former company saying they want to do things properly. However, none of the B.A.P members have visited the late representative of TS Entertainment, and none of the six members have ever said they wanted to do things properly and approached the former company.

The B.A.P trademark's 10-year validity expired at the end of last month. TS Entertainment plans to apply for an extension of the trademark registration in the near future, indicating their intention to retain the B.A.P name. A TS Entertainment representative stated, 'Currently, the members are with different agencies, and not all six are together. It doesn’t seem like they need the trademark rights just for making money. However, portraying themselves as victims by claiming that the trademark is being withheld is not acceptable.
