Actor Kim Seon-ho has been offered the lead role in director Han Jae-rim's upcoming series "Hypnosis" and is currently in discussions.
According to a News1 report on the 14th, Suzy has already been cast as the female lead, with Kim Seon-ho being considered for the male lead role of painter Yoon Yi-ho, who will act alongside her. Kim Seon-ho and Suzy previously worked together in the 2020 tvN drama "Start-Up."
"Hypnosis" is set in 1935 Gyeongseong (modern-day Seoul) and 1800s Shanghai, following the mysterious events that unfold as painter Yoon Yi-ho takes on a commission to paint a captivating vampire woman, Song Jung-hwa. The story reveals more about her true identity as the plot progresses. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name, which was serialized on Naver.
Previously, Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were considered for the lead roles, generating buzz. However, due to dating and breakup issues, both actors decided not to participate.
"Hypnosis" is expected to complete casting soon and begin filming within the year.
