[theqoo] IZM HARSHLY CRITICIZES NMIXX'S SEE THAT?

"The identity of NMIXX, which seemed to be established with "DASH," has once again become ambiguous. Although they mix hip-hop and fairy-tale-like melodies, the result doesn't create the synergy of combining each strength but rather falls into turbulence. The bassline, reminiscent of Seo Taiji’s “Come Back Home” commonly used in K-pop, sets up a predictability from the introduction and stays safely within that narrow scope. The 'mixxpop,' which should focus on freshness, ends up losing its substance by allowing predictability. Unlike their previous work, which was like a tailored suit, this one feels unnatural. It seems like they have returned to the past, disregarding the direction they had built up over the past year. The track is similar in many ways to their debut song "OO," raising questions such as whether this song was truly necessary for key moments, and whether it manages to support the individual skills of the NMIXX members. The track’s lack of cohesion is disappointing, and a simpler understanding would have been more desirable."

They received 1 star...

1. Hul I liked it the moment I heard it and ended up listening to the entire NMIXX album ㅠㅠ I listened to DASH everyday too

2. I liked it so much though ㅜㅜ

3. DASH was so good that this song felt a bit underwhelming, but it's getting more addictive

4. Please let them drop their acapella teasers already, it's not even helping them go viral

5. Me too... Honestly, I felt like DASH was legendary, so See That? felt like a let down.... They should've released See That? first and DASH after...

6. I honestly don't understand JYP's direction for them

7. I like See That? though ㅜㅜ

8. To my ears, the song is just okay

9. I liked it, I watched all the stages

10. I don't care about what critics have to say
