An amendment to the Crime Victim Protection Act, which allows compensation payments to be made to the families of deceased crime victims, also passed the committee stage.
These bills, considered major livelihood-related legislation, are expected to be smoothly approved at the plenary session on the 28th after being reviewed at the afternoon meeting of the Judiciary Committee.
