[theqoo] FORMER FIFTY FIFTY 3 MEMBERS, "PAY US OUR 300 MILLION"... FILE CIVIL LAWSUIT

Three former members who had their exclusive contracts terminated with Attrakt, the agency of the girl group Fifty Fifty last year, have filed a lawsuit against Attrakt's CEO, Jeon Hong-jun, demanding 300 million won in settlement payments (~226K USD).

The three former members, Saena, Shio, and Aran, submitted a complaint to the Seoul Central District Court on the 23rd, requesting 310 million won in settlement payments. This lawsuit is a counterclaim to a 13 billion won damages lawsuit filed by Attrakt in December of last year against the three former members, their parents, and 12 other individuals including Ahn Seong-il, the CEO of the outsourced production company The Givers.

Both cases have been assigned to the 31st Civil Division and will be combined for proceedings. The legal representation for the three former members in both the damages and settlement claims is handled by Dongin Law Group.

The three former members are making various moves in anticipation of resuming activities with Fifty Fifty. On the 12th, they signed an exclusive contract with the label MASSIVE E&C under IOK Company and expressed their intention to create new success stories alongside the key figures behind the global hit "Cupid." Additionally, they have filed the settlement claim lawsuit ahead of the first trial of the 13 billion won damages lawsuit scheduled for the 29th, further escalating the conflict. This has led to speculation that these actions might be a form of strategic opposition ahead of the group's full-scale return to activities.
