EXO's Chanyeol is releasing his first solo album 12 years after his debut, but fans in Korea are already getting cold responses. Tickets for the Seoul concerts of the live tour went on sale on July 7, and the general ticket sales started on the 8th, but there is still a long way to go before it sells out.
According to Interpark, as of 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 13, there were 821 seats left for Chanyeol's "2024 CHANYEOL LIVE TOUR : 都市風景 (City-scape) in SEOUL" Seoul concert, including 465 seats on Sept. 6 and 356 seats on Sept. 7.
This is in contrast to the sold-out solo concerts and fan meetings of all EXO members this year, with the exception of Kai, Sehun, and Chen, who are currently serving in the military and have not performed solo. This is all the more remarkable as EXO as a whole continues to hold large-scale fan meetings and demonstrate its popularity and solid fandom firepower, with "First Snow" sparking a reverse run syndrome late last year.
The cold fan sentiment toward Chanyeol began with his personal life controversy in 2021, when a netizen who claimed to be his ex-girlfriend alleged that he had cheated on her with more than a dozen women during their three-year relationship, including girl group members, YouTubers, dancers, and flight attendant BJs.

According to the official website of Blue Square, the Mastercard Hall where Chanyeol is performing can accommodate up to 2,400 people on the floor level if standing seats are included, and the second level has 371 seats plus 10 wheelchair spaces, making a total of 381 people. This means approximately 2,800 people can attend the performance. Since the concert is held over two days, it is estimated that around 5,600 people could attend the event.
Recently, the group Urban Zakapa and singer Youhna have held concerts here, and StayC is scheduled to hold a fan meeting. All of them are sold out.

1. No but even without his scandal, he never had the skills
2. If you think about his scandal, then it's obvious....ㅎ
3. I think that he sold a lot though?
4. How is 400 seats left considered "empty"? He was able to gather 2K people out of 2.5K
5. I don't even remember what his scandal was anymore
6. Huh? 800 seats left out of 5.6K is considered "empty"??
7. Seems like the journalist has never seen "empty" in their life if this is considered empty
8. The article is so maliciousㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I'd cry if I were Chanyeol
9. He's part of EXO so not being able to fill up Blue Square is indeed surprising
10. But for an EXO member to be unable to fill up Blue Square is....
