The seriousness of the conflict between progressives and conservatives was also revealed in the answers to questions about willingness to date based on political orientation.

More than half of the respondents, 58.2%, said they could not date or marry someone with a different political orientation. These responses were more common among women (60.9%) than men (53.90%), and more middle-aged (56.6%) and elderly (68.6%) than young people (51.8%).

33.0% of people answered that they cannot have drinks with friends or acquaintances if they have different political leanings. 71.4% said they would not participate in civic and social group activities if their political inclinations were different.
