[instiz] US TIP CULTURE THAT IS REALLY GETTING OUT OF HANDS

The Real Crazy American Tipping Culture

A woman in Texas, USA, bought $20 worth of pizza
Delivery via US delivery service "DoorDash"
The delivery man arrives and hands over the food.
He said "it's a nice house for a five dollar tip" to the bewildered woman who replies "thank you" but the delivery man says "f*ck you" and leaves.

The tip was 25%....

It's said that he got fired

original post: here

1. Daebak wow

2. No but how much are we supposed to tip a $20 order for him to not say anything? There's no tips in the UK so I'm taken aback....

3. What a weird bast*rd. If that order cost $20, she gave a lot. They fired him well

4. It's indeed is crazy

5. I need the US to remove their tipping culture

6. And he still left with it? ㅋㅋㅋ

7. So how much was he expecting? They're trying to make money for doing nothing. I paid for the food, and 25% of the price was a lot, should I pay $100 for a $20 meal?

8. Cancel the tipping culture... They'll wake up eventually

9. Get rid of the tipping culture and pay them well instead....

10. Happy ending
