Actor Jisoo has revealed that he “cleared up misunderstandings with his friends,” referring to his past school violence controversy.
Jisoo posted a 10-minute video titled “Actor Kim Jisoo 'JisooRoad' Movie Vlog Documentary” on his YouTube channel, JisooRoad, on the 24th.
“It's been almost four years,” Jisoo said in the video, explaining that he traveled on the KTX from Seoul Station. ”Four years ago, I went on a trip to Geomundo by myself, and now I'm back again.”
“In those four years, a lot of things happened,” he continued, ”I went to the army, and I had some bad issues, but I was able to resolve the misunderstanding with my friends who talked about it.”
“And I'm slowly getting ready to do it again,” he added, signaling his intention to return to broadcasting.
In 2021, Jisoo was embroiled in school violence allegations. “I sincerely apologize to those who suffered because of me,” he said in response to the controversy. He was subsequently dropped from the KBS 2TV drama “River Where the Moon Rises” and terminated his contract with his agency, Key East.
In July of that year, Jisoo filed a criminal complaint against the writers of the articles, claiming that false articles and rumors about him were being widely spread.
