[enter-talk] BABYMONSTER IS IN TROUBLE;;

It’s going to be hard for them to absorb the domestic fandom since the current 4th generation groups are still going strong.
So they'll need to gather international fans, but it seems like the momentum that was supposed to go from BP to BaeMon is now shifting to MEOVV.
MEOVV also suit that image way more. Even though BaeMon was introduced as BP's sister group, the match doesn’t quite feel right.
On the other hand, this new group really gives off that BP sister group vibe. I can see them landing luxury brand ambassador deals easily, their vibe is just insane

Honestly, this situation must be really upsetting for both BaeMon and their fans. It's not like the BaeMon members lack talent or visuals, but they’re catching so much flak just because of the producing. I get why people say this stuff... 2NE1 and BP were YG, but Teddy had such a big role in their success. Still, as someone who loves girl groups, I just want both BaeMon and MEOVV to do well. I hope the BaeMon members don’t lose confidence because of what people are sayingㅠㅠ and Yang Hyunsuk should get it together and put out good songs to really develop the group...

BaeMon dragged things out way too long from the start. The excitement just fizzled out. Plus, the group has too many members, the name is tacky, the music videos are tacky, and the songs are tacky... I just feel bad for members like Ahyeon and Chiquita.

But honestly, BP's real sister group does seem to be this new group... What can BaeMon do when it’s just how the members are? They’ll have to find their own way.

BaeMon just doesn’t have much star power... Yang Hyunsuk’s style has this old-fashioned vibe, and it makes me not want to listen to the music. To be blunt, I haven’t seen a single friend of mine add songs like “Batter Up” to their playlist

MEOVV really does feel like BP's true hoobae group... I know BaeMon is talented, but they don’t give off the same vibe BP did when they first debuted. But for MEOVV, they are Teddy’s first girl group, and the synergy seems stronger, especially since they introduced Ella as the first member. But we’ll have to wait and see when they actually debut.
