Katy's new song 'Woman's World' entered the Spotify charts in the US at 110th and globally at 58th on its release day, but disappeared from the charts two days later, confirming its failure with performance far below expectations. Internally, it seems they were taken aback. They can't afford for the album to suffer the same fate and are trying their best to salvage it, brainstorming every possible solution.

'Woman's World' is a work by Dr. Luke, who produced many of Katy Perry's hit songs. There were concerns that the response might not be favorable due to lawsuits. It was Katy's decision to collaborate with him again, despite warnings from those around her.

There is no contractual obligation to work with Dr. Luke. Criticism has also arisen because most of the composers of this song are men, which raises questions about involving so many men in creating a women's anthem.
