[theqoo] HYBE STRUGGLES TO TRACE 'BTS AND LE SSERAFIM''S CYBER WRECKERS... THE U.S. COURT DISMISSES REQUEST (FT. HYBE'S SUSTAINABILITY REPORT)

HYBE's request for disclosure of information from X (formerly Twitter) user "Guilty Archive" has been denied by a U.S. court. The dismissal of the request means that HYBE will not be able to obtain the personal information of 'Guilty Archive' and the lawsuit process will be stalled.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California announced on March 28 (local time) that it dismissed HYBE's disclosure request against X. The court denied the request.

(...)

However, HYBE's claim was dismissed. "HYBE's application satisfies the basic requirements of section 1782," said Judge Vince Chhabria, who presided over the case, "but the court will not grant disclosure."

The court viewed the use of U.S. courts to obtain information about others by individuals who are not law enforcement agencies as an abuse of the system. "Investigating a crime is generally the job of the investigating agency, not the victim," said Judge Vince Chhabria, noting that "there is no indication that the South Korean police have acted on HYBE's complaint."

"If South Korean law enforcement were to seek disclosure of information in this case, they would be able to do so under the treaty between the United States and South Korea," he added.

1. Do they think that the US Court is made up of fools? Do they think that they whole world is theirs?

2. Guilty Archive hated on my bias before and I did hate them once but male communities who are made up of trolls are fighting nobody else but Guilty Archive... if you go on a male-dominant community site, your brain will melt after 10 minutes. You won't be able to make it. Ever since then, I just started supporting Guilty Archive

3. How does everything they do turn into comedy?ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

4. I support Guilty

5. They honestly only do work that ruins my mood. They can't do anything properly

6. How is Guilty Archive a "wrecker"? F*ckã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

7. They are not catching anyone from DC Gallery but instead are going for the wrong culprit. By the US' standards, the request is just ridiculous

8. Why not sue the place that needs to be sued? Go on DC Gallery first

9. But why is Guilty Archive a "wrecker"?ã…‹ã…‹

10. I think that HYBE has a weird way of doing thingsã…‹ã…‹
