Former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a close ally of U.S. President Joe Biden, has told House Democrats that Biden will soon be persuaded to drop out of the presidential race.

According to the Washington Post (WP) on Monday, three Democratic officials said that Pelosi told some House Democrats that Biden would be persuaded to drop out of the presidential race "fairly soon," according to WP.
