Korea ranked first with about 8.9 people with plastic surgeries per 1,000 people. In fact, the size of Korea's cosmetic surgery market exceeded $10.7 billion (about 14.32 trillion won) as of 2018, which is equivalent to about 25% of the global cosmetic surgery market share.
