Netflix's "Squid Game Season 2" will be the first K-drama to have a production budget of 100 billion won. Lee Jungjae, the lead actor, is reportedly being paid $1 million (about 1.3 billion won) per episode. This is the highest contract ever for a Korean actor.
Earlier, it was reported that the ransom increased significantly as "The Squid Game" became a worldwide hit. 'The Squid Game' is known to be planned for 13 episodes until season 3. Lee Jungjae is expected to receive an estimated $13 million (17.34 billion won).

1. He's basically winning the lotto for every episode... the reality check...
2. But that's because he's the lead of Squid Game though
3. I think that Lee Jungjae deserves it. If you don't think it's fair, then just try to be the lead of the #1 Netflix show
4. But we're talking about Squid Game here
5. I think that it won't be considered "too much" even if they paid him more... Squid Game made so much money for Netflix
6. That's a Netflix drama here. If you think about how much money they pay American leads with a drama that hit daebak, then he's actually not getting paid that much
7. This is the #1 Netflix drama in history. It's actually pretty little
8. It's less than I thought
9. 1 million per episodeㄷㄷ but given that it's Lee Jungjae and Netflix, he deserves itㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ that's rather little
10. Wow... 1 million per episode... he's on another level
