[theqoo] BTS 'CHART SAJAEGI'S CIVIL COMPLAINT' KCCA TO START INVESTIGATION

The Ministry Of Culture will be heading the investigation.

BTS is facing an investigation following accusations of chart manipulation.

On May 21, it was reported that the Korean Creative Content Agency (KCCA), which is under the Ministry Of Culture, Sports, And Tourism, has confirmed that it has received an official complaint about BTS’s alleged Sajaegi (chart manipulation).

Reports state that the complaints were first directed to the Ministry of Culture itself but had been deligated to the KCCA. The KCCA reportedly will be reaching out to HYBE to investigate the claims.

Netizens reacted to the news, with many expressing little faith in the investigation. Many felt that the ministry wouldn’t investigate the claims as well as they should. Others also pointed to the fact that BTS was proclaimed innocent in 2017 when they had been investigated for the same charge.

1. But the court ruling already came out...

2. There's already a court ruling, what more is there to do?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ in the end, they will just come out with an article saying that they didn't find anything and lose all public credibility

3. How long has it been since they announced the investigation already? And they still hasn't done anything...

4. And how are you gonna investigate a court ruling?

5. What's there left for the KCCA to do? Are they just gonna ignore the court ruling?

6. The court's decision did not determine whether there was any sajaegi involved. It states that regardless of the truth of what the perpetrator claims, when someone is threatened, they have no choice but to pay money, which makes the crime particularly shocking. The decision also mentions that since the perpetrator approached pretending to be a third party, it was even more malicious because they couldn't predict how the provided material would be distorted.

7. Are you gonna talk to the court face to face?

8. The media play has started

9. They are building it up for media playㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

10. Ah~ so if there's a court ruling, as long as you claim that it's not true, it annuls itㅋㅋㅋㅋ must be nice to be above the law
