They try to beautify it by calling it preppy look and "for fashion". To be honest, from Koreans' perspective, it's just a strangely altered school uniform...

Why are female idols always dressed like that every time they wear school uniforms... (I'm not saying that it's too revealing, but I think that the way they're wearing the school uniforms is a shame)

NewJeans and Le Sserafim look just as pretty when they wear their uniforms normally, but the way they've been wearing their uniforms recently is such a shame ㅠㅜ
