Minnie and Yuqi boasted about their special friendship as they spent their early days together in Korea. The two were so close that they had no secrets, but there were rules. Yugi recalled, "When I first came to Korea and met people, there was one guy who made my heart flutter for the first time. This is someone that I ended up contacting. One day, I saw a message on Minnie's phone and it was his name."

Yuqi, who did not know that the two were in contact, tried to talk to Minnie. Yuqi said, "Minnie said, ‘You too?’. We were very close friends, but it became a bit awkward. We felt like we had done something wrong to each other for nothing," she confessed.

Yuqi said, “We made a rule that when we become a team, we won’t like the same people.” Soyeon advised, “Now, speak up as soon as you contact me.”

Minnie and Yuqi were unable to answer the question, “Was (the man) from the same company?”
