Yongin Everland's popular giant panda, Fu Bao, is just over two months away from being sent away from Korea. The panda is scheduled to return to China in April, but has to go into quarantine a month earlier. It is expected that the number of visitors who are willing to brave the "open run" to see Fu Bao will increase.
According to reports from China and South Korea on Wednesday, Fu Bao is expected to board a flight to China in mid-to-late April. Everland and the China Wildlife Conservation Society have been discussing a timeline for Fu Bao's return to China before July 20, when she turns 4 years old, and have reached an agreement that it will not be later than April.
If Fu Bao's return is finalized in April, guests will have just over two months to meet her in person at Everland.

Upon returning home, Fu Bao will spend a month in a separate facility for quarantine and isolation. She will then return to Sichuan, where she will reportedly be sent to the Bifengxia Panda Center in Ayan City.
