[theqoo] WE SHOULD TREAT A 100% FOREIGN GROUP AS "K-POP' VS WE SHOULDN'T

For example, Black Swan and Alexa

Both are all made of foreigners but they debuted under a Korea company

They sing K-pop (there's Korean too)

original post: here

1. Of course

2. If their songs are K-pop, then they're K-pop

3. They're K-pop

4. Of course... then is America the only place doing pop?

5. It's not like K-pop if you're deliberately writing lyrics in English and using little or no Korean. But it's K-pop if you are doing Korean style music in Korea with a lot of Korean lyrics

6. Why wouldn't it be K-pop

7. Black Swan is indeed K-pop. Their songs are good too

8. I'm not sure if they were be considered K-idol but they are indeed doing K-pop! They are promoting in Korea doing K-pop and their company does K-pop too

9. Uh,,,

10. It's K-pop. They debuted in Korea and have Korean songs
