"I recently met with (the case client) Lee once and had a brief meeting," he said, adding that Lee had no knowledge of A, a third-generation chaebol, and B, an aspiring celebrity.

Lee denied allegations that he had taken drugs while hanging out with A and others at a brothel in Gangnam, Seoul. However, when asked, "Do you admit or deny the suspicion of taking drugs," he replied, "It's hard to say yet," and said, "I will sincerely undergo the police investigation."

Lee's lawyers also explained that they were unable to specify the defendants and the amount of damage in relation to the incident.

Earlier, Lee filed a complaint with the Incheon District Prosecutor's Office last week through his lawyer, saying, "I was threatened and robbed of hundreds of millions of won in connection with a drug case."

Lee and eight others are suspected of injecting drugs several times this year at brothels and residences in Seoul's Gangnam neighborhood.
