Executive producer Min Heejin personally organized the casting of Tony Leung. She passed on the script to Leung through a mutual acquaintance, and after checking out the story of the music video, Leung signed on as a no-guarantee for the charming character, regardless of the amount of screen time. (T/N: in the Korean industry, "no-guarantee" means that the actor is not getting paid)
Both Leung and Jung shared their thoughts on the appearance via ADOR. "We had a good connection and wanted to give a small gift to our Korean fans," Leung said, expressing his love for Korea. Jung Hoyeon added "Every single member of the crew, including NewJeans, Tony Leung, and the Dolphiners, whom I have always been fans of, worked together and had a great time filming. I hope the viewers can feel that fun energy as well."

4. No-guaranteeㄷㄷ
5. I fainted when I saw Tony Leung yesterday but what's more is that he appeared as a non-guarantee...
6. I knew that he was gonna be in the MV but still got goosebumps when he appeared. People must've felt ecstatic when they saw him without knowing about his appearance
7. Wow no-guaranteeㅋㅋㅋ I f*cking got goosebumps when he appearedㅋㅋ
8. Wow her connections are crazy... but I kinda felt like it would've been a no-guarantee appearance. If he got paid, the amount would've been astronomical
9. The white hair was his own suggestion😍
10. Wow seriously daebak. The fact that he appeared as a non-guarantee is f*cking cool
