Netflix's original series "Squid Game 2" has been mired in controversy, and the production company has apologized for the incident.
On the 11th, the production company of 'Squid Game 2' released an official statement, saying, "We received information that citizens experienced inconvenience during the filming of 'Squid Game 2' at Incheon Airport on the 10th." "During the filming process, we did our best to provide citizens with detailed information about the situation on site, but we apologize for any inconvenience caused," the statement continued.
We sincerely thank the public for their patience during the filming and will continue to be more cautious in the future."
Earlier in the day, an online community posted an article exposing the "power trip" of the 'Squid Game 2' staff. The author said that he visited Incheon Airport during the day and witnessed the filming of 'Squid Game 2'.
He explained that when people, including himself, tried to use the escalator, a staff member told them to "go back" without explaining the situation or asking for their permission. He expressed his displeasure, saying, "Is the filming crew a governmental body? I don't know what's so special about them".

1. Sigh....
2. At this rate, I just wish that K-dramas and movies would fail overseas. They are power tripping on us so hard because the shows are aimed at foreign audience
3. They aren't even performing public services, it's not an emergency either so why?... The citizens asked asked nicely too
4. No but this infuriates me so much. I also went to Incheon airport and wanted to take the escalator last time but they told me that I couldn't and it freaking pissed me off. My luggages were so heavy but I had to go up the stairs while carrying them
5. I hope this show fails
6. They are apologizing for power tripping every day
7. They are doing all sorts of things
8. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ? A public escalator? They have lost their minds
9. 🍆🍆 (T/N: eggplant = kaji, kajikaji = doing all sorts of things)
10. Pride-o Game
