[enter-talk] IS THAT REALLY YENA'S NEW SONG.. IT'S SHOCKING...;

Even in her previous promotion, she said she paid an hommage to Olivia's Good 4 U with her lyrics and I can see Olivia's influence in her music to some extent but this time, she blatantly called her song 'Hate Rodrigo' which is kinda shoking..;

Of course, the song isn't hating on Olivia and I find the content of her song pretty cool (but if it was really a hate song, it would've been problematic) but it's not like Olivia didn't have any fans either and these two aren't even close, but I'm really wondering if this is really something to do to a 03-liner who has debuted for only 2 years... As a fan of Olivia, I'm just a bit upset

Just think about if the roles were reversed. Imagine if a foreign singer were making hommages of her concepts and then randomly wrote a song called 'Hate Izone' or 'Hate Choi Yena'ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ her fans would be in uproar...

that's right. She's not paying hommage to Madonna or Lady Gaga and even for Taylor or Ariana, she should be having second thoughts about this. But she's using Olivia Rodrigo as some symbolism for herself. Just why would she even use her name...

+ Lxxk 2 U is severe because it copied everything from Good 4 U from the title, to the content of the song to the whole vibe... If you view this positively, you could call it an hommage or a shout out but actually, it just feels like some Chinese copy of a foreign pop song.. She's not plagiarizing but she's ripping off all the references

But the concept is indeed a bit shocking. No matter what the content is, just with the title 'Hate Rodrigo', you can feel that she's taking a jab at her. Isn't she gonna use her name for all her challenges and promotions..? Also, the fact that her company approved of this is interesting because it's not like Olivia Rodrigo was some nobody. She's someone who ranked #1 on Billboard multiple times and she even went on world tours. That's how many fans she has. I'm surprised that they agreed to this kind of concept. To be honest, if Japan or another country released a song called 'Hate IU/ Bangtan/ BP', but say "the content isn't a diss~" but keep on promoting the song, their fans would be freaking triggered

Olivia was also a rising star for a while and to claim that this is just a "simple reference" is.... The whole Smile concept was when pop-punk was popular but her starting base just reminded me of Good 4 U. and Lxxk 2 U was just an open hommage.. if she only did this with one song, it might've been fine but doing this multiple times isn't it
