Top actor Lee Minho (36) is set to star in the movie "Omniscient Reader".
According to the movie industry on Wednesday, Lee Minho was recently offered the lead role in the movie "Omniscient Reader" and is currently working out the details.
The movie follows the protagonist, Kim Dok-ja, as he tries to save the world when one day he wakes up in a world that has changed according to the contents of the novel he was reading. It is based on the popular web novel of the same name, which has been serialized on Munpia since February 2018.
Lee Minho plays Yoo Joong-hyuk, the protagonist of the novel that Kim Dok-ja was reading. Rising actor Ahn Hyoseop is in talks to play Kim Dok-ja, who fights alongside Yoo and his friends.

A representative from Lee Min Ho's agency told Maeil Business Daily, "It's true that Lee Minho has been offered a role in 'Omniscient Reader,'" but added, "It's one of the proposed works. Nothing has been decided yet," and took a cautious stance.
