t/n: MZ generation: millennials + Gen Z
The American MZ generation is expected to not be able to use TikTok in the future.
On the 17th (local time), CNN reported that "the state of Montana has signed a bill to ban TikTok." The governor of Montana also said he supports banning TikTok to "protect Montana residents' personal data from the Chinese Communist Party." This makes Montana the first state in the United States to officially ban TikTok.
This is because of this big reason:
"TikTok is a propaganda tool for the Chinese Communist Party...Former executives are exposed"
(t/n: article talks about the Chinese government using TikTok's data to gatehr information about the users)

1. Is the governor a reoublican ? That's what Trump would've done
2. That's nice, why is the "What is the MZ generation going to do" so funny? Young kids are so good at adapting to their environment anyways
3. So they'll end up watching Reels and Shorts
4. But isn't this against democracy?
5. But they can just go over to Shorts
6. I don't understand what's good about this? Even if they ban Tik Tok, they can watch IG Reels and Youtube Shorts for the same content
7. But they seriously are getting dominated by Tik Tok
8. Seriously you really think that Tik Tok is stealing your information?
9. I can understand, but isn't this atypical for a country that pushes individual freedom?
10. I hope our country also does it
