[theqoo] PREJUDICE AGAINST FOREIGNERS IN KOREA

1. But it's true that compared to other countries, plastic surgery is way more common here... I have thin monolids but all my relatives tell me that I will look prettier with double eyelidsㅋㅋ They would even ask kids about plastic surgery;;

2. It's true that Korea is coldㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's even colder than in Canadaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. There are a lot of people who never did double eyelids though. I'm one of them

5. But from their perspective, they are not talking about double eyelids. They think of "plastic surgery" more as a nose job, facial contouring or things like that... There are a lot of people who get double eyelids surgery in Korea but it's hard for foreigners to think of that when they think "plastic surgery"..

7. But when it's hot, it's also f*cking hot

8. Of all the people around me, none of them got plastic surgery..ㅋㅋ Honestly, it's true that there are less than I expected

9. Of course a lot of people have plastic surgery here. More than half of the girls got double eyelids surgery here

10. There's a reason why people wear long padded jackets hereㅋㅋㅋ
