[theqoo] BTS JIMIN, ALBUM RANKS #2 ON US BILLBOARD... THE BEST KPOP SOLO IN HISTORY

With his first solo debut, Jimin (BTS) recorded the highest score as a K-pop solo singer on the US Billboard's main album chart, 'Billboard 200'.

According to the US Billboard on the 2nd (local time), BTS Jimin's first solo album 'FACE', released on the 26th of last month, ranked 2nd on the US Billboard's main album chart 'Billboard 200'. The first place was taken by American country singer Morgan Wallen.

Billboard said in an article that day, “BTS Jimin’s ‘FACE’ sold 164,000 copies and ranked second. It is the second highest number of sales this year in the first week of release.”

With this achievement, Jimin achieved the highest score among K-pop solo singers. In the meantime, the singer who recorded the highest ranking as a K-pop solo on the Billboard 200 was BTS leader RM. RM's album, which was released in December of last year, reached #3 on this chart.
