[teens stories] WHY DO PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY MUST DRINK WHEN THEY GATHER TOGETHER?

Not everyone is like this but once you become an adult and gather together or have a dinner together, drinking is almost always a must. So I freaking hate meeting up because I hate drinking so maybe that's why I feel really uncomfortable if there's no way for me to skip a gathering. Why is our country so obsessed with alcohol? Are foreign countries like this too?

Wow f*ck, I thought that I was the only one thinking like this. I'm really uncomfortable with alcohol... I get that you can become closer while drinking but...ㅠ;;; If you meet for the first time, you have to drink. If you want to get close to someone, you have to drink. If you go to a place as a group, you have to drink again...

Wow same... For real, I was asking my friends to just hang out and play without drinking and they said "why even meet then?"................... You guys were playing just fine a few months ago without drinking
