When the controversy arose, KBS explained, "We have never manipulated the broadcast score.Im Young Woong's 'If We Ever Meet Again' was not broadcasted on KBS TV, radio, and digital content during the ranking period from the 2nd to the 8th."

However, it is known that KBS Happy FM 'Im Baekcheon's Back Music' and KBS Cool FM 'Exciting Night Lee Yoonjung' on May 4 and KBS Happy FM 'With Kim Hyeyoung' on May 7, both played Im Youngwoong's song, which made it even more bizarre. 

In response, KBS explained again, "Among the broadcast scores of 'Music Bank', the radio section is counted for 7 programs of KBS Cool FM. Programs other than those 7 programs are not counted.".

1. That clarification was so hafl as**d

2. Le Sserafim are the only one getting hate from this sigh 

3. The rules sure are quite funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They said that they counted radio, then why not count all of them??? The charts definitely needs a reform 

4. But these 7 radio shows also had Im Youngwoong's song play on them though 

5. Le Sserafim are the only ones getting hated on.. They just took the #1 that was handed to them 

6. This is way too awkward. Only those idols are getting sworn at. They're pitiful...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

7. Can't they just tell us how these broadcast points were given.... 

8. They need to give us a maximum amount of broadcast points someone can receive. Just how many points can someone receive at most?

9. Now they're just saying whatever at this point ㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're going to reveal your criteria, at least do it properly
