Maybe it's because all the members are so young...

And Hyein is so much younger compared to the other members so rather than taking care of her, it feels like they are rather reluctant to do it.

I'm not saying that she's being bullied of whatnot but it kinda feels like they don't want to play with their younger dongsaeng..?

It's kinda like when you don't want to take care of your younger relatives during Seollal.

I also get what you mean. If I had to compare, one on side, you have Eunchae whose unnies have experienced all sorts of hardships so they are all babying her while for NewJeans, they are all fresh newbies, are all having a hard time, unfamiliar with their environment and all young so I feel like they also want to be babied themselves? So they are all awkward with having the oldest unnie's role so that's why they are not really taking care of Hyein

Uhm... I'm not saying that it only happens to Hyein but the atmosphere inside NewJeans is kinda stale? They purposely would not react to others' aegyo or they would reject others' aegyo flatly and they do a lot of reactions like that. The other members also do that to one another, it's just their concept. But they know that it's just a joke and if you watch them closely, you'll see that they are all close and care for each other. They always call each other "cute" or "pretty"... They have a good relationship with Hyein so I hope that you guys stop speculating about her being left out just because they are not babying her as the maknae. Our kids are all hanging out as friends just fine ^^
