Idk man Minhyuk and Jaehyun kinda sounds rare? Idk?
> reflectorvest: Minhyuk is one of the most popular male names in Korea across the board, and I can name four Jaehyuns in kpop off the top of my head. Neither is anything close to rare.

Nct’s jaemin’s last name is really rare, Na jaemin, his name isn’t that common either i think, txt’s yeonjun’s name also isn’t common and i heard korean fans saying he has a unique name. Also itzy’s Ryujin name sounds kinda unique

MAMAMOO's Moonbyul and Wheein.
Moonbyul's real name is 문별이 spelled as Moon byul-yi. Byul-ie or byul-yi is usually used as a nickname but the fact that is her real given name makes it really cool!
And Wheein, her real name is 정휘인 spelled as Jeong Hweein. Her name is really unique, I think she's the only person named Wheein/Hweein in the industry.

How about Kang Daniels real name before he legally changed it to daniel "Eui geon."

oh my girl's seunghee has a pretty common name but her surname is on the rare side, it's hyun (현). jiho from oh my girl has a unique name too, but for a different reason. jiho (지호) is a relatively common name for men, but it's rare for women.
san from ateez has an interesting name too! it's less common than other single syllable names (like chan, geon or hyuk) and it literally means mountain.

Enhypen's Heeseung and TXT's Beomgyu.I find those two quite unique since I haven't really seen other idols with those names.

I'm not Korean but I think 2ne1's Sandara Park has a unique name. I read somewhere that having 3 syllables for a first name as a Korean is uncommon. Maybe that's why they had to make Dara her stage name.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.
> Flying_a_kite: Yeah its suuuper uncommon to have a three syllable first name. When she introduces herself as Sandara, most people assume San is her last name and Dara is her full first name.
> Marla_Harlot: Park Bom is also strange for only being 2 syllables.

Seungkwan from svt has a very unique last name. His last name is Boo! Boo originated from Jeju Island where Seungkwan is from. Right now there’s only a little over 11,000 people in Korea with the last name Boo. MoonBin from astro has a unique name. His surname is Moon and given name is Bin. His stage name is just his first and last name combined. Luda of WJSN also comes to mind, her full name is Lee Luda, Luda is not a common name but it’s very pretty!
> Purple_Function9009: I remember googling “what is Moonbins surname?” when I first got into astro and being very confused

felix from stray kids’ korean name is yongbok! it’s a very old fashioned name that no one has nowadays let alone a 20 year old idol. every time people find out about his korean name they always find it funny or shocking.
