[PC stories/KPOP takes] IS IT JUST ME? I ONLY KEEP UP WITH KPOP BECAUSE OF THE GOSSIP?

I used to be a huge fan of KPOP in its prime days (non-cancelled Bigbang, SNSD, SuJu, T-Ara, BTOB, Beast, 2ne1, SS501, TVXQ, JYJ, Shinee, 2PM, 2AM, Davichi, 4minute, EXO, MBlaq, f(x), etc, omg the good times...), so now everything feels bland.

I do enjoy to watch some performances to check the choreography though - it's impossible to like the songs. Nowadays, all songs sound the same. Girl groups are trying hard to impress, so a few gems end up coming out, but it's mostly cheeky high-pitched tik tok stuff. Boy groups are trying too hard to be sexy, powerful, or whatever it is that they've been trying.

And let me tell you the real thing, all of them look the same. Back in the days, the stunning people were actually stunning and they are still stunning, just now considered 'legendary'. Now, the supposedly stunning people are all robots created to be that way (I'm not saying that they were not trained for it before, but now it's like all companies and idols think that they've found THE idol formula). And they look very similar. They are beautiful, but they don't have the unique charms. It's all soulless.

Why am I still here? To check the gossip. Gossip is still fun.

And when I comment something (I try to be true to my real thoughts), it's always fun to see the fans crying 'hey I bet you're XX group's fan, that's why you hate our beautiful YY!' And no, I'm not, I have no idea of who any of these people are.
